The Swain County Recreation Center has many activities available

Just across from the cabin on the other side of the road,  you'll notice a chained gate. This is an unimproved road/trail winding up the mountain through the trees. This makes a perfect hiking trail to exercise your four legged friends as well as yourself but please clean-up after your pet if you bring one. We've started a bin to put your clean grocery type bags in so people can "recycle" them :-)
